The Astoria Police Department distributes informational releases through the website located at www.astoriadispatch.org. It also uses a piersystem service to diseminate to the public and the media. All releases are sent to local media. All major events or items of regional importance are sent to all users who registered as media at http://www.astoriadispatch.org/go/mailinglist/458/
