Automated Calls ask for Debit Card Info

DETAILS:
The Astoria Police Department has received two fraud alerts that are affecting residents in this area. The alerts came from TLC Federal Credit Union(www.tlcfcu.org) and Seaside Police Department (www.seasidepd.org) both involve automated phone calls indicating that a hold has been placed on a debit card. The call then prompts the recipient to enter their 16 character debit card number and PIN.
If you receive similar phone calls do not enter your information requested. If you have questions about your bank accounts contact your bank directly.
